Challenge
Finance group, 1st Stop, approached us to create a new ‘consumer focused’ lender to help drive growth and expand its direct offering. This new lender would blend its highly experienced teams with new financial technology to deliver a seamless lending experience for its customers. From naming through to roll-out, our task was to make this ‘people’s champion’ a reality through a distinctive, friendly visual and verbal approach.
Approach
Bringing this customer-centric purpose to life, we developed the overarching concept of ‘Beyond Borrowing’. Creating a pioneering force for change within the lending industry. One built to help empower customers to achieve and progress through life. The new brand name ‘Oplo’, a stylised abbreviation of ‘loans for life’s opportunities’, reflects this positive and proactive approach.
Results
A stunning brand expression that utilises vibrant morphic gradients, bright sunny imagery and a bold and contemporary colour palette. The Oplo brand defines the personal and pioneering approach which is a new way that is ‘beyond borrowing’.
